Life’s emergence does not happen neatly, or all at once. There is an organic web of stamina, will, strength, and love entangled with fear and fatigue. We are pushed and pulled by it. The tendrils of this web remain, even after the triumphant culmination of birth.

Throughout our lives we have these moments of creation, of birth. We continue to emerge, we continue to take that first breath, and in our final moments, we continue to crown.
